presents PEACE, LOVE & POTTERY at our 2010 Summer Arts On Fire Workshops. These workshops will run every Tuesday and Thursday this summer starting June 29th and ending August 26th. We have decided to only run workshops this summer. We will not hold any week long camps this year as they were not well attended the past two summers. We did these daily type workshops in our early years and they were great! They were successful last summer also. We are really looking forward to spending time with your kids at these workshops this summer. They will love them! Prices and length of workshops will vary by project but they will run for an hour and a half to two hours and will start at 10am. Eleven out of eighteen of these workshops are under $25.00 per child. Miss Kimmy is working on her samples now so the completed samples will be on view at the studio and on the website soon. We recommend that the kids wear old clothes. Pre-registration is recommended. A deposit of $10.00 is required to hold your child’s spot. Again, we are accepting kids 5 and older.

This is going to be one of our most popular summer workshop programs ever so if you want your child to be able to attend, call early to reserve their spot with a $10.00 deposit per workshop.

 

June 29th – Tuesday – 10am to 11:30am
Land of the Free Flag Handprint Plate: The kids will paint a 10” Dinner Plate using their handprint as the basis for an American Flag. The cost is $19.95 plus tax per child.

 

July 1st – Thursday – 10am to 11:30am
Love Bug Wind Chimes: The kids will make wind chimes out of clay and paint them. The cost is $18.50 plus tax per child.

July 6th – Tuesday 10am to Noon
Herbie The Love Bug: The kids will paint a Popcorn Bowl today plus watch a movie – Herbie The Love Bug Fully Loaded and eat some popcorn too! The cost is $28.50 plus tax per child.

 

July 8th – Thursday 10am to 11:30am
Black & White Tie Dye Plate: The kids will paint a 10” Dinner Plate today. The cost is $19.95 plus tax per child.

 

July 13th – Tuesday 10am to 11:30am
Tie Dye T-Shirt: The kids will make a Tie Dye T-Shirt today. They can use this for the rest of the summer as their camp shirt! The cost is $18.50 plus tax per child.

 

 

July 15th – Thursday 10am to 11:30am
Cool Glass Ornaments: The kids will make 4 glass ornaments using the Glass Fusing Technique. The cost is $32.50 plus tax per child.

 

July 20th – Tuesday 10am to 12pm
Peace Sign or Smiley Face Mosaic: The kids will make a Mosaic Plaque forming either a Smiley Face or a Peace Sign. The cost is $22.95 plus tax per child.

 

 

July 22nd – Thursday 10am to 12pm
Flower Power Pencil Holder: The kids will make a Pencil Holder out of a Flower Pot and the project includes pencils with Flower Tops. The cost is $24.95 plus tax per child.

 


July 27th – Tuesday 10am to 12pm
Groovy Cupcake Glass Plate: The kids will make a Cupcake Glass Plate using the glass fusing technique. The cost is $32.50 plus tax per child.

 

July 29th – Thursday 10am to 11:30am
Give Peace A Chance Name Plaque: The kids will make a Name Plaque out of clay and paint it. The cost is $18.50 plus tax per child.

 

August 3rd – Tuesday 10am to 11:30am
Peace Sign Plate: The kids will make a plate using our Bubble Painting Technique and tape to create a Peace Sign. The cost is $19.95 plus tax per child.

 

 

 

August 5th – Thursday 10am to 12pm
Monsters vs. What? The kids will make a Monster or an Alien out of two pieces of pottery and iron feet while they watch the movie Monsters vs. Aliens. The cost is $32.50 plus tax per child.

Outta Sight Mosaic Mirror: The kids will make a Mosaic Mirror today. The cost is $23.95 plus tax per child.

 

August 12th – Thursday 10am to 11:30pm
Can You Dig It Candy Jar: The kids will create a candy jar using a flower pot and tray as the lid. We will add a clay knob to the top. The cost is $21.95 plus tax per child.

Hairy Eyeball Halloween Candy Bowl: The kids will paint a Halloween Candy Bowl that will have glow in the dark eyeballs glued inside to frighten your trick or treaters! The cost is $29.50 plus tax per child.

 

 

August 19th – Thursday 10am to 11:30am
Tie Dye Pillow Case: The kids will tie dye their own pillow case today. They can choose to decorate with their name or a peace sign before they tie dye. The cost is $18.50 plus tax per child.

 

 

August 24th – Tuesday 10am to 11:30pm
Freak Me Out Halloween Sun Catcher: The kids will make a Sun Catcher using the Glass Fusing Technique. The cost is $32.50 plus tax per child.

 

August 26th - Thursday 10am to 12pm
Peace, Love & Toy Story: The kids will paint a Disney Toy Story Figurine while they watch the original Toy Story movie. The cost is $27.50 plus tax per child.
